 We're back from CHA! We just may have
ordered more than ever at a trade show, and I think you're going to
love what you see. The new products will start rolling in over
the next few weeks, for the most part, and will continue into the
months to come. The paper and embellishment collections were
the stars of the show, followed by some cool new tools and
ideas. We can't wait to share it all with you!
By the way, we have a new home for our little old Cricut!
Carol Schanz will be taking in the little machine and giving it a
2nd chance.

In-Store
Events
Fun in the New
Year
No plans for SuperBowl Sunday? Join us for a
Free Crop from noon to 6pm on 2/5. We've made
it a pot luck, so feel free to bring a dish to pass (everyone loves
good food).
Our next Cricut Club
Crop will be Sat 2/11 from 10a-9p. Club
members can crop and borrow cartridges for free, all while getting a
shopping discount and networking with other members.
Our next Power
Scrapping day is Sat 2/18 from 10a-3p for
$8. Compete for prizes and get lots done while having
fun!
Bring the kids in for an All Ages
Crop from 10am-6pm on Mon 2/20. Lunch is
included in the $7 fee.
Want to have fun while doing something for a good cause?
Join us for a Relay for Life
Fundraiser on Sun 2/26 from noon to 6pm for
$20. Our events, with full details, are listed on our Calendar

Up?

This month, at the Cricut Club Crop on Sat 2/11,
we're having a Valentine's Party. Bring a Valentine to
swap with your fellow croppers and, just for fun, try your
hand at making a mailbox for yours! This month's
cartridge is Animal Kingdom. Bring something you've made using
the cartridge or make something while you're there.
Be sure to sign up for the quarterly event on February
19th at 1pm, where we'll be making 3D houses. Bring
your Cricut, tool kit (paper cutters, adhesives etc), scoring
device and a few pieces of pasteboard. The houses can
also be decorated with patterned paper and
embellishments. If you have an Expression machine you'll
want a 12 x 24 mat. Barb will give a few pointers on 3D
construction using your Cricut and will be there to help you
with most construction issues.
Tip of the month: If you're having trouble getting
a smooth cut, try changing your blade. Blades should be
changed after 8 hours of cutting, but this
varies dependent on the type of paper you're working
with.

Join Fawn to learn how to make

Medallions class featuring 4 gorgeous 3D layouts
using the Medallion stamps from Holly Berry stamps.
Beginners: Join our Scrapbook
1 class on Wed
2/8 at 6pm for only $10, and learn what you need to get
started!
 Margie is offering a Flip Book
Class using the Cinch! Join her on Thurs 2/16 at
6:30p and make something adorable for yourself (or as a
gift).
