First of all, thank you to everyone who came out to our Grand
Re-Opening Celebration! I've never seen such a turnout!
We had a great time giving tours, taking silly pictures, having some
cake and snacks, and giving away free stuff. My favorite part,
though, was seeing the look on everyone's faces as they saw the
newly remodeled store for the first time... It doesn't get
old.
Well, it's bitter cold outside, but not snowing enough to keep
us indoors for too long. That's just enough time to pick
up some scrapbook supplies and head back home to some hot cocoa and
a paper trimmer. We've got some great stuff in store for you,
even before we head to CHA in about a week.
On a side note, I told some of you I'd post in our newsletter
when the remainder of the bead inventory was put together in
lots. The beads are now ready for a new home... They're broken
out into lots ranging from $20-$800 (wholesale pricing). If
you, or someone you know, may be interested in purchasing the lots,
you can view them at the store during business

New!
Basic
Grey's newest Valentine's line, Kissing Booth, is in
stock. It's adorable, though I'm a bit partial to the
colors (pink, brown & red). St. Patrick's Day paper is
here already, along with new Valentine's Day paper from
Reminisce. We  have the latest line from Echo
Park - Boy's Life. I love this one! I think I
have a thing for denim lately, which is why I like this
collection. It's also why I like the new line we just received
from We R Memory Keepers. Good Day Sunshine
is a mix of blues, greens and orange.  It's the perfect palette for Spring.
We've added some new licensed products from
Sandylion -adorable stickers from Hello Kitty,
Pinkalicious, and Disney to WWE, Transformers, Angry Birds and
everything in between!
We know many of you
are watching the CHA releases appear on blogs and elsewhere on the
web (maybe more than we are). We're excited about heading out
to CA for the show, and are anticipating buying tons of amazing new
products while we're there. Some products are already on
order, and will begin arriving as early as late January/early
February. Keep an eye out for all of these exciting new
releases!

Club Corner
Welcome!
Barb is busy at work
as our new Cricut Club
Coordinator! She's put together our next
Quarterly Event, which will be 1-4p on Sun 2/19. We'll be
constructing 3D houses! Barb will start us off with some
tips, then will be around to lend a hand. There is no charge
for the event; you'll just need to supply your own materials.
Most houses require sturdy paper, cardboard or chipboard (requires
deep cut blade). You'll need a 12x24 mat if you're
using an Expression (regular Cricuts make slightly smaller
houses), a glue gun or quick-drying adhesive (rubber cement
works well), a scoring tool (Score-Pal, bone folder,
etc.), a piece of cardboard for the base, and paper and
embellishments to decorate. Bring any cartridges you have with
buildings (Winter Woodland, Happy Hauntings, Princess Party, Handy
Man). There will also be cartridges available to borrow.

We'll be offering a
Cricut Club Crop
on Sat 2/11 from 10a to
9p. These crops are free to Cricut Club Members, but we
request you sign up in advance to reserve a seat. At
these crops, fellow Cricut users are around to help you with any
issues you're having, or give you ideas for your projects.
Barb's tip: Check your machine for updates online before
coming to a crop - firmware updates can be time-consuming,
causing frustration if you're waiting to use it at a
crop. Don't forget about updating your Design Studio software
or Gypsy if you use one of those, too.

point where he needs a little TLC (you're hearing sad violin
music in your head). His front door is broken,

his parts. Now, we know he's not perfect, but I'm willing
to bet there's someone out there looking for a little bug to
