My family and I just got back from a trip to the western side
of our beautiful state. We were able to  take the kids to Michigan Adventure, camping, Holland,
Saugatuck and Grand Rapids. I don't know how many pictures I
actually took, but I know it was in the high hundreds. This
was definitely a Michigan trip worth remembering... both the good
and bad of it. On our way home from the coast, we stopped in
Grand Rapids to visit the Frederick Meijer
Gardens & Sculpture Park. OMG is all I can say...
there is a Chihuly Glass exhibit (through October 31st), which was
so inspiring. If you like gardens, this place is
amazing. But add the glass sculptures, and you've got some
amazing photos! Ok, back to work... my point is that you don't
have to go far to create amazing memories. I have a lot of
scrapbooking to work on!

In-Store
Events
Our last All Ages
Crop for the Summer, which is only $7
including lunch, will be Mon 8/30 from 10am to 6pm.
It's not too late... you can still participate in our
very own Overnight
Crop! We have a fun night of cropping planned for
Sat 8/21. You can crop during the day (10a-4p) for only $6, or
can join us from 4p-6a for $22. The overnight portion includes
dinner, beverage and a midnight snack - yum! Of course,
we'll be raffling off progressive prizes - the longer you stay, the
better they get!
We will be closed on Labor Day, Mon 9/6, but
will be open our regular hours the rest of the week.
Scrapbook
Leagues start up again for the Fall! The leagues
are a great way to challenge yourself and get some real scrapbooking
done! Join as a single or as a team. Thursdays are
weekly and we offer a bi-weekly Saturday league. The
registration deadline is 8/29, but we will consider sign-ups until
the first day of League.
Our next Cricut Club
Crop is Sat 9/18 from 10am to 9pm. Club
members crop and borrow cartridges for free all day!

Start Learning
There are still seats open in Melissa's Combo Cricut
101/2 on Tues 8/24 from 6-9p for $27.
This will be an abridged version of both 101 &
102 classes to get you a jump start! We're also
offering an Expression
Features class on Mon 8/30 at 6p for
Expression & Create users. NEW
CLASSES: The new class for beginners is Out of the
Box, and will be on Wed 9/1
at 6pm. Next is Now Cut
This on Thurs 9/9 at 6pm. Cricut Character
Creations will be offered on Mon 9/13 at
6pm. Cricut Photo
Croppin' will run alongside the Club Crop on Sat 9/18
from 2-3:30pm. Finally, we're offering
another Cricut Gypsy class (also good for
Design Studio users) on Tues 9/28 at 6pm.
 Julie is teaching the Basic Grey Lil'
Monkey Class on Wed 8/25 at 6pm. Using the
new Oliver line and a cool wood mixed album, participants will
create a super-fun project!
Beginners - we've added a Scrapbooking
1 class on Thurs 8/26 at 6pm for only $10. The
next class will be Thurs 9/2, also at 6pm.
Our Basic Grey POTM
Meet-Up is scheduled for Sun 8/29 at 1pm. Those
who have the kits can put them together... well, together!
This is a drop-in event at no charge.

is offering a new class: Flower
Frenzy 2! Join her in creating some amazing
flowers in 4 layouts on Wed 9/22 at 6pm.

Wow, where do I start?! We have the new Birds & Bees
dies from QuicKutz. There's also an amazing new
collector's set called Special Delivery. This new limited-edition
gift set includes 26 shapes and one mini alphabet, including a
variety of card dies, borders & mats, labels, tabs, and
exclusive stitching dies. Everything you need to create  delightful handmade cards! By the way, we now have
their Magnetic Storage Books back in stock. We also received
an enormous shipment from Reminisce. Talk
about themes- Autumn Forest, Gingerbread Lane, Making the
Grade, Real Magic (think Disney), a Halloween line, Wave
Crashers and a ton of themed embellishments to match.
Speaking of themes, we also received a huge order from Karen
Foster,  including a new little boy & girl line,
Pregnancy, tons of baby's first items, school, dogs & cats and
more. Plus, there's a very cool large 3D Peek-a-Box that would look
super cool altered! We have a beautiful assortment
of Christmas goods from K & Company. Last
year their line similar to this was hard to keep on the
shelf. We now have the new Tattered
Angels Chalkboard colors, which add (you guessed it) a
chalky glimmer finish. We finally  received the new Glimmer Glaze paints! Here's
