This always happens after the trade shows... we anxiously await
the arrival of all the new products we ordered. Some ship to
us right away, while other companies make us wait until September or
later (always a bummer). But each time we see UPS or FedEx, it
feels like Christmas. It's started again, and I'll be sure to
keep you updated on our blog.
 In a recent
newsletter, I asked you to vote for us as your favorite Arts &
Crafts store. I thought the voting ended at the end of July,
but I was mistaken. You can still vote (if you haven't
already) until August 29th! Please remember to vote for

WDIV's website. For those of you who crop with us on Fridays,

Scrapbook Leagues
Sign up for Fall
We have
opened registration for the Fall leagues, and are excited about how
much interest there is already! We will be offering Leagues on
Mon, Tues, Thurs & Sat. The weekday leagues meet weekly,
and there are two Sat leagues that meet every other week. Find
out more information about the leagues here.
Are you interested in participating? Contact the store
to sign up as a single or as a team. Leagues start the
week of 9/8/08, and payment will be due by Sun 8/24
to confirm a spot. |

New Product
Update
 Keeping it
Hot!
Here's a little post-CHA summary of what's in so
far. We received Hallowhimsy (some of my very favorite
Halloween  papers)
and Snowy Jo lines from Imaginisce. The
new Digital Scrapbooking book is in stock from Scrapbooks
Etc., and includes a free digi kit! We have the  new Limited
Edition colors of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist
(gorgeous Fall colors). Making Memories sent
us the new Spellbound Halloween line as well.
 I was very excited to
see the new Pink Paisley lines arrive!
Vintage Moon and Pop Fashion are just amazing (we all agreed on
these at the show). We also  received three
new lines from Dream Street Papers - double sided
dreamy paper! Some of it would be awesome for zoo pages.
We are expecting the new lines from American  Crafts to arrive as early as
Tuesday, and look forward to the other new goodies arriving
this week!

In-Store Events
We appreciate you! If you've been in the store this past
week, you already know about our Auction.
We'll be holding our 2nd annual Scrapbook Auction on Sun 8/17 at
1pm. To participate, shop with between now and 8/14 to earn
ScrapBucks. You'll earn 5 ScrapBucks for every $5 you spend on
merchandise (before tax) to spend at the auction. We'll be
bringing out bunches of goodies from the back room
(product samples, bump & dent items, store giveaways,
etc.). You get to bid on the items, auction style, and have a
great time!
Here's the fine print... You can earn as many ScrapBucks
as you want, but each participant may only bring 200 ScrapBucks to
bid with at the Auction (hint: give the rest to a friend and bring
them along).
One of our customers is hosting a Breast Cancer 3-Day
Fundraiser on Sun 8/10 from 12-6p. The cost is $20
which includes food. Contact the store to sign up!
Our next Cricut Club Crop will be Sat 8/9 from
10a-9p. This event is free for Club members.
