instructor Erin for an Alcohol Ink Workshop! You will receive a class kit
including all basic supplies for creating many
works of art with this incredibly versatile medium. This workshop
includes techniques designed for intermediate scrapbookers and paper crafters,
however you do no need to know anything about alcohol inks to participate!
Make 7 projects using 16 alcohol ink techniques!
Bonus: this workshop includes many more altered art techniques using products
like acrylic paint, distressing, masking & more!
You'll create the following:
- An 8x8 layout
- 2 Cards
- 2 Jumbo altered art tag cards
- A Domino mini book
- An "Icy" altered tin

- Alcohol ink & UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing
Enamel)
- Inking on metal
- Stained Glass Effect
- Masking on acrylic
- Domino agates with mixative
- Mini mister ink wash
- Emboss & ink resist
- Watercolor stamping with alcohol ink
- Mini Mister pigmented ink
- Mixative agates
- Vinyl tile agates
- Bubble wrap inking
- Distress coverage inking
- Paper marbleizing
- Glossy paper application
- Blending solution misting, dripping &
splattering
Your class fee includes:
- 3 Inks
- A mixative
- Blending solution
- Applicator or felt pad refill
- 2 Mini Misters
Participants must bring the following:
- Trimmer
- Scissors
- Heat Gun
- Heat resistant Craft Mat (something to
protect the work surface from heat, like the Bazzill Splat Mat)
- Ruler
- Bone Folder or scoring tool
- Wet and dry adhesive
- Old newspaper
- Journaling pen & pencil
- Roll of paper towel
- VersaMark or other embossing medium
- Black StazOn ink
- Foam brush or cotton swabs to paint with
- Foam 3D adhesive dots
- Sanding block or fine grit sand paper
Optional, but we recommend you bring:
- Craft apron (alcohol ink is permanent and
will stain clothing)
- Crop-O-Dile
- Distress tool or edge scraper
- Round hole punch
- A Bag lunch, as there will be a 1/2-hour
break during the class
