Cricut Design Studio, taught by Melissa Deloria

Are you just getting into the Cricut Design Studio software?  Are you thinking of purchasing it? This is the class for you.  Learn all the basics about how to use the DS software, as well as shortcuts.  We'll navigate through a full project, and you'll be a creative wizard in no time!

We will be using an overhead projector or handouts in this class, but you will only be able to cut out completed projects if you have the DS software installed on a computer (laptop) you bring with you.  If you don't have the software installed on a laptop, but have access to one, you can download the trial version from Cricut.com onto the laptop.  With this, you'll be able to follow along with the class, but just will not be able to cut your completed projects out until later. 

Supplies to bring:  Your Cricut and cartridges, Cricut Cutting Mat, any Cricut tools you have (especially the spatula), laptop with DS installed (see above), a paper trimmer, and craft tweezers if you have them.  You will most likely be taking notes, so bring paper and a pen as well.

Note: Please update your Cricut firmware (by connecting through your software) prior to the class.
