The Freedom Grab... a 60-Second Shopping Spree!

Alright everyone, plan out your routes!  Because we have something special planned for you!

Shop with us in June, and for every $25 you spend per visit on merchandise (before tax) we'll give you an entry to win a free 60-second shopping spree!  The shopping spree will take place on Saturday, July 5th at 1pm in our store.  We'll choose a winner from all the entries who will be able to spend a whopping 60 seconds piling on all they'd like to take home - for free!  Yes, you must pile it on, because there are no baskets allowed, no extra hands, no dragging, etc. - only what you can carry in your arms!  But you must be present to win, because if we call your number, it's GO time!  See official rules below. 

 

Freedom Grab Contest Rules 2008
Description
The Scrappy Chic “Freedom Grab” Shopping Spree (hereafter referred to as “Contest”) will award one grand prize winner a free 60-second shopping spree in our store.

Promotion Period
The promotion period begins June 16th, 2008 and ends on June 30th, 2008. Winner will be announced on Saturday, July 5th, 2008 at 1pm.

Eligibility
No purchase necessary to win. Subject to the other requirements stated elsewhere in these Official Rules, entrants must be 16 years of age or older at the time of entry. To be eligible to win, Scrappy Chic must receive entries in the proper format.  Employees of Scrappy Chic, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers or their immediate families are not eligible. By entering, entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Scrappy Chic, which are final and binding.  By entering the Contest, entrants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Scrappy Chic, their legal representatives, their affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers, sponsors, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any damages which may arise out of participation in the Contest, or out of the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of contest prizes.

Disqualification
Scrappy Chic may prohibit entrants from participating in the Promotion and disqualify entries if they do not follow the rules of the contest or if they attempt to enter the Promotion through means not described in the rules, attempt to disrupt the contest or circumvent the rules, or act in an un-sportsmanlike manner or with an intent to annoy or harass any other entrant, affiliated parties or employees of Scrappy Chic.  Each entry ticket is numbered.  All entries found to be duplicated, tampered with, or altered in any way will be void and ineligible for the contest.  Ticket holders are responsible for their own ticket, and replacements will not be given under any circumstances.

How to Enter
Scrappy Chic will give a ticket to each customer who purchases $25 or more in merchandise, per store visit, before tax, and an entry for each $25 in merchandise purchased above the initial $25.  The customer is to complete the form, with their name name and phone number written legibly, place the completed ticket in the entry box, and hold on to their ticket stub.  Entries are placed in a secured container until the drawing is held on July 5th, 2008 at 1:00pm.  The winner will be selected, at random, from those entries who have properly completed their entry forms according to these rules herein.  You can also receive an entry form, no purchase necessary, by visiting the store on Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 between 10am and 8pm and asking for an entry.  Winner must be present at drawing time to win.

Release/Limitation of Liability
By entering, each entrant further agrees that, in the event there is any conflict or other inconsistency between the Official Contest Rules and any advertisements, promotional or marketing materials, e-mails, or announcements relevant to this Promotion, these Official Contest Rules will govern.

Prizes
One Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize will grant the winner a free 60-second shopping spree.    In the event that Scrappy Chic offers any runner-up prizes on the day of the drawing, all the rules herein will apply.  Winner must be present at drawing to win and accept prize.  Cricut machines and cartridges, as well as Epson products,  are excluded as prizes for purposes of the contest.

Winner Notification and Redemption
Grand Prize and Runners Up winners will be notified at the drawing on Saturday, July 5th, 2008 at 1:00pm.  Contest winner must acknowledge acceptance of their prize by providing photo identification, in person, as proof of eligibility. In the event of runner up winners, they must also provide proof of eligibility, in person, and agree to abide by the rules herein.  The winner must redeem the prize immediately, unless Scrappy Chic makes arrangements otherwise.

Rights of Scrappy Chic
Scrappy Chic reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel, or suspend Contest should causes beyond the control of Scrappy Chic interfere in the administration, security or proper participation in Contest.  Scrappy Chic is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in Contest.

Winners List
Winners will be posted in the store and on our website, www.ScrappyChicLivonia.com, within 30 days of the drawing.

Tax Information
Payment of all taxes and fees on prizes won are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners must check with their own tax counsel to ascertain whether a prize will generate taxable income, and, if so, the amount.

Publication
Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for Scrappy Chic, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies to use winner's name and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. Each winner further grants to Scrappy Chic the right to use and publish his or her identity and home city and home state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with this and other Promotions.

Except where prohibited by law, Scrappy Chic makes no warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of the promotion prize including, but not limited to, quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular prize.
