How to Make Tutus, taught by Chris Nicholson

Learn how to make easy tutus for those beautiful little ballerinas and princesses!  Using only a couple materials (and no sewing experience is necessary), you'll create a tutu of your styling in one to two hours!  I will have tulle available in many colors for purchase, which you can get before class (please leave a few minutes to make a selection if you will be purchasing it the night of class).

Please bring:
Waist measurement for the tutu you're making (where the tutu waistband will sit or just below the belly button, don't pull tight).
Scissors appropriate for cutting fabric - standard size
Flexible measuring tape or yardstick - at least 2' long

Optional:
Needle and thread (I'll have my sewing machine there if you'd like me to sew for you)
Tulle - if you have a special color or fabric you'd like to use, you can bring yours. 
Silk ribbon (1/2" or narrower) if you'd like to add it to the skirt, but this is also optional.
